FUTURE WARRIORS LEADERSHIP
Through Future Warriors, North Atlanta High School students learn leadership skills through coaching and mentoring Sutton Middle School students. Student coaches gain valuable real world leadership experience by organizing, communicating and demonstrating skills in their chosen activities. Our experience has reinforced that students learn quicker and are more at ease with student coaches who were recently in their same position.
Future Warriors student coaches come together with each other to share their successful ideas, insights and strategies, allowing them to become more effective leaders. The Future Warriors program provides opportunities to learn from community leaders and coaches by attending local speaking engagements as well as one-on-one time with experienced coaching professionals in the Atlanta area.
Middle School students benefit from the Future Warriors program experience as they prepare to enter High School. These positive interactions with High School role-models serves to improve their performance now and energize them to continue these activities in the future. Having benefitted from their involvement in this program positions them to be the next generation of student coaches- ready to contribute and guide the Middle School students of tomorrow.
